ya IF I get atleast 3000 for my mustang thats whats going into the engine< thats why I didnt want to stroke it to a 408 to save $1100. But does it help that my pistons say 0.40 on them and they came with the block? i know that means 0.40 bore but what does that mean about the engine?

 

The cuin is as sits about 360. U may want to piece a kit together i had a 396 pieced for about 950$ ur key would be compression to get those numbers n/a. That trades off driveability though.

A decent 393 or so with 100 shot can produce ur goal!
