Default Motor plate

I have no motor mount perches in my car from when I had to cut them out to fit the big block in my car so I am going to motor plate my windsor in, the question I have is do I have to run a mid plate or can I just run a front plate? and where is a good place to buy from, thanks.

pretty sure you need both front and mid plate, Look around, lots of places sell them. Team z, wolfcraft, racecraft inc.

why would you waste your time with plates... Just get a K-member. Also, why the hell would you chop your mounts out? Even if you had a big block, there are swap mounts available...

Maybe the motor was set back and/or dropped more then the stock location and then there is the headers maybe they were very large 2 in or 2 1/8 in tubes. moving a motor that big back even a 1/2 in would make a big difference in a Fox body. it is pretty common for RACE CARS to run motor plates. Then maybe it had some trick head on it that once again had header fitment issues due to stock type mounts. But then again maybe it was just a hack job install LOL. Just some of he reasons for the plates.

this.... That's all I'm sayin'

But yes, I'd consider cutting motor mounts off a K-member to be a hack job.
