Fuel Pressure Issues
Hi guys. Im having a weird issue with fuel pressure.
Heres the scoop
Im running a carbed engine.
New edelbrock 1792 pump
New quickfuel regulator
New fuel pressure guage mounted to fuel rail
New 3/8 line from tank to carb
All this stuff is new. Pressure randomly goes from 5-10 psi.
Ill set it to 6 psi then a hour later it goes to anywhere from 5-10
I tried a diff regulator and another new guage same issue.
Could this be a voltage drop issue at the pump?
I wired it to the factory EFI wires that connected to the stock EFI pump. So I am using the factory relay.
Any ideas?

What is the part number of the regulator? Most of there regulators are return type, and regulate by sendung excess fuel back to the tank via a return line. If you only have 1 fuel line from the tank to the carb, you need one of the older style dead head regulators.
