anyone out there know about id'ing a block. have a 351w that has a casting # of
D9AE-6015-ED and a date code embossed below it as 8K10. What I get out of it it was cast in D 70's, 9 for 1979 and A for full size Ford. But the date code is throwing me 8 or the year K for Nov and 10 for the 10th day of the month. So if the casting is 1979 would the date code be Nov 10th of 1978, could it be Nov 10th 1988
