Exclamation 351 windsor

i have a 351 winsor in my 95 conv. and i have everything hooked up except the idol stop and the alternator and the engine came out of a 71 galexy 500 . if you can help plz let me know. i also need a hood scoop cuz the fan hits the hood and so does the airfilter.

the engine is already mounted all i have left is wiring it up
the idol stop wire and alternator wires are the only thing left

Witch stock wires do I need to hook up to the alternater and where do I hook up the idol stop up to

ok so its carbed? did u use the entire galaxy setup? or did you use the sn brackets etc need to know what you have in order to tell you anything!

i bought new mounts to drop it into the engin bay. i used the entire setup and yes its carbed. the stock wires have a set of 4 wires in one clip and it has a singel wire thst goes in the alternater also. but the new alternator doesnt have any hook ups it just has bolts that you attach the wires stright to the back. i need to know what clorers go where on the alternator. i appoligize that my ? wasnt clear

Well a older alternator has a remote mounted voltage regulator, you only needed 1 wire with then, simple and cost less than the newer ones but you wouldnt have an elaborate sound system with one! being only about 35-40 amps max, you would be ahead of the game using the assembly for an sn car not the v-belt hoop setup from back in the day... and all the new-age components! factory plug-n-play hookups.

that confused me lol. so is there a alternator that i can buy that can work with the engine and plug right in with the factory plug ins? ill try to upload a pick of the engine so u can c it.
