Default 351 windsor questions

Hey guys this is my 1st post and hopefully will be a fox body owner pretty soon. I'm looking into purchasing this 90 get with a 351w swap cowl hood gt40 head/intake, hammer shifter, longtubes , 4.10, frame tied. This 351w was rebuilt but he claims it runs great yadi yada. Is there anything I should be on the look out for its funny mustangs have been my favoriot since I was a kid but have yet to own one and work on them but I'm very mechanically inclined. And if I posted in the wrong section I apologize in advance. Thanks guys

my son bought an 89 with a swap carbed engine. first heard a tick noise pulled valve covers and found roller rockers bending the push tubes....investigation found standard tappets on the cam. replaced all and run for 2 more weeks and bottom end made a screeching hawl and hammer knock and quit..now have to pull motor to see damage done.....just saying i hope you find one as a better deal.

Eb2gt... where there any mods when he bought it and if you don't mind how much. I'm just trying to gauge in any correlation to an alarming price or an actual " steal ".

You always take a chance buying a used car, especially one thats had an engine swap. Look for leaks, ticks, etc. You know the drill
