Default 351w build

Can i get decent horsepower out of my 351w by just adding a cam intake carb and headers? What would be a good combo? I am still using the stock cast iron heads.

Sorry, can't be any help here. I just wanted to say that I really like that motor. When my 302 burnt up in my '71, I put a '69 Merc 351W in my Mustang. Worked like a champ. Cam, carb and headers are pretty standard for those engines.

Oh, and welcome to the forums.

welcome...try asking your question in the appropriate tech section and someone might be able to provide you with an answer.

Good luck!

Yes, especially by ditching those heads. What are your goals for the car? Then we can start piecing together a nice combo.
