get at least a 205 head.......don't go any lower, "some" may claim you'll give up down low power for more up top with the larger head and use the ole port velocity/ runner size argument to support claim....blah blah blah ect ect..........yet to see a 351 stroker built right with 205 heads not have low end grunt...lol if that were the case then when I went from an afr 185 on my 347 to a tfs 203 head I should of been a turd down low....twas' not the case......it has more now.

since it's an f150 5.8 can I get lightning gt40 heads and have them ported to be a 205 head (I don't want to go crazy spending $850 for a set of bare heads) unless I can find a better price somewhere that is closer to 500 or less for the same style because I know I'm getting better rocker arms, lifters, and valve springs (and anything else I need) as it is

I Know budget was mentioned but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't want either of those heads on any car I drive.

lol, well, i think he was implying he wanted to to be around $700.00 for a complete set and he was talking about doing some sort of gt40 head anyway so, there's $700.00 heads.

they even make chevy heads.

hey..at least the seats don't seem to fall out of them.

guess he could buy a set of these 4 valve windsor heads for only 12k.

you'd spend 60-80 hrs to port a set of gt-40 heads to flow decent for a 351 stroker and then the cost of putting larger valves in = not worth it.....you said you wanted it to be "badarse" don't cheap out on the most important part the H/C/I and buy Junk!! be patient and save your money for a decent set of heads......or when the cheap crap goes south then expect to spend twice as much to redo it right.

Alright I'll keep that stuff in mind I'm just looking at the now when I still have to take the freaking thing apart but while we are on the topic of intake what would be a good size intake to go with efi or carb doesn't matter I'm still trying to decide on some of this so I can set goals
