Default Car shakes at idle

I have noticed this for a while and I even took it to my dealership and they said it was normal. I said okay, but it still happens and then since I am on this forum I figured I would ask everyone who has one. When sitting at a stop light with car in drive (auto), does the car shake at all in the rear? I mean it is not bad, and it is not with giving it gas. It is just sitting at the light and it shakes. Any ideas or anything? Thanks.

I know you said it is an automatic, but when you are sitting at the light, is it still in gear with your foot on the brake?

Mine shakes a bit at idle, my car doesn't even have 1k on it yet. I only noticed it a couple of times, and it's not at a stoplight, but from a cold start.. i'm hoping it's normal.. it's jsut a bit.. nothing too crucial.

I have not noticed mine shaking. At times I can hear the ABS thumping when I sit at a light.1500 miles with Automatic.

Yes, with my foot on the brake in drive. If I put it in neutral it is better but still there. It is not a big deal more or less just wondering. I am about to hit 30k next month. I am sad....However it has been doing this since I got it at 19k, but with a since I got the custom tune it is much heavier.

This stuff makes me wonder about getting a tune, yeah people say it's pretty safe.. BUT does it add a signifcant amount of load? I do plan on keeping the car way past 100k... but honestly.. I'll still probably get it tuned [&:]

There should not be any skaking going on at all regardless of driving mode.
Your dealer is pulling your leg or the idiots don't know what they're talking about.
Force the issue and get it repaired under warranty before it's too late.

Things that can cause shaking at ldle while in drive with foot on the brake etc.
A cylinder is not firing or is missing due to other problems. Bad or non-actuated fuel injector. Bad exhaust valve etc.
Torque converter is not bolted up to the flywheel correctly i.e. off 90 or 180 degrees of where it should be.
There are some other possibilities but I'll leave them out for now.
Regardless your problem is an issue that should be corrected.
4.0's don't shake the car in any mode as you are describing.
Could be the exhaust system shaking due to a bad or missing hanger too.
