How are Mac Headers

RE: How are Mac Headers
ok, I ceramic coated mine, I see that they are rusting out...also, single flange header designs like JBA is easier to mount, especially if you have to remove them. MAC's have 8 flanges that like to move around...you get what you pay for

RE: How are Mac Headers
Mine took several hours to install. I had to do lots of little tricks to make them work. The bolts that came with them were the wrong size so I had to use the factory studs, which I had to remove the first 2 on the drivers side so I could get the header in. I also had to dimple the header to fit the pipe that goes from the header to the intake on the drivers side. You also have to either grind down the coil bracket or leave the bottom screw off, same for a bracket on the passenger side front. I had to use a floor jack on the cat to get it to line up on the pass side. If I had to do it again I would spend the extra money for the JBA's. I have lots of photos of the install if you are interested.
