I had My MRT in for 2 weeks now, and my ears are still ringing after I drive for a while, and you have to blast the radio to hear it over the drone.......I still dig it though........

That's what I'm about to find out.

UPS came today. Hood strusts, also from MRT, and the aero turbine are now in my posession.

I'll be taking pictures along the whole way, giving a complete write up.

Yes, I just got a C&L/93 SCT and it's a totally different car. Seems like I can get to from 0-60 in 6 seconds or less, but I'll have to time it to know for sure, and with the MRT muffler bringing on the noise, it deffinitly feels and sounds like a true muscle car...

That's great!!! Are you ready to take it to the track now? A bunch are planning to hit Mason Dixon Dragway this Sunday afternoon. It's located just west of Frederick, MD off I-70. It looks doubtful that we could go, but there should be several 4.0L's there from MF & 40C.

Something I wish I could've made. Been wanting to hit up a mustang track gathering to see some official numbers. That and to improve skills at the track. Roads are one thing, but pre-rev at a track is much better and efficient.

But I've got some experience and stats with 93 tune. I'm cleaning the car tomorrow. And last step I'll shove it down to 87 octane tune. See if I see any drastic dip in performance or efficiency. Or if it stays relatively the same.

I forgot what month in 2006 where MMf&F magazine did test results on the GT by using 3 different manufactures of CAI. In the QTR mile, there was no real difference than using the Stock CAI. Save your money. Can you imagine what it would do for a 6er other than improve mpg???????? Put a Nitro unit in your 6er if you want to see any real difference.
Also, in the qtr mile, stock V6 vs GT, there is only a 2 second difference or 40 feet in the 06 models. Probably the same through 2010. Add-ons for a 6er unless a Nitro, I will save my money.

Wiping the dust off a 4 year old thread huh? I do have to say it helped my thought process towards whether or not to buy a tuner! Thanks

Good write-up, the more and more I hear about the vast improvements of a tune makes me want to just order one already but I need to manage my money! Soon.
