Default Installing The JLT

I got my JLT intake today and so i put it together but im still waiting on the tuner. U basically get 2 pics of the installed intake in the instructions when i think they should have a couple different ones on installing them since i dont have much experience doing it and i dont want to put together the intake wrong. Says something about an arrow on the MAF houseing but it kinda looks like the end of an arrow with no tip, they said have it pointing towards the throttle body but in the pic its pointed towards to filter so thats how i hooked it up.

The Question:
Im about to just do a test fit so i get more familiar with hooking it up when i get the tuner (and yes i know not to turn the car on without the tune) but i was wondering what kind of toolm you use to get out the 2 hoses from the stock intake, the MAF sensor and whatever other sensor that is. Thanks

The 2 hoses pull right out, they take some manuevering, some soapy water should help, just a little water. The sensor just pulls out too.

The PCV hose is removed by pushing the green clip to one side. Do this on both the intake and manifold and then pull on them to remove. The MAF sensor is unscrewed with a T20 torx screw bit.

yeah its a torx screw. Be careful when putting in the MAF sensor the right way. I turned it around on accident and when i started my car after the tune the car died. I was like wtf...it was because the MAF sensor was in the wrong way and wasnt reading the air flow. So becareful.

Here are some pics so you can get the idea. dont mind the hose clamps that i got. i had to cut them really fast because mine didnt come with clamps!! [:@] oh and the housing that the MAF sensor sits in it says JLT on it it should be facing you so you can read it. Thats how you will know its in the right way.

Yep well like i posted in the other one, i didnt even get any screws with my intake. It seems that they have some problems getting ALL of the pieces for one complete intake in the box. Now i dont know which screws i need to go buy to hold the MAF in.

Britina- WOW such a sweet sound with the borla. is that before or after the intake? also i'm also interested in the demolet CAI and XcalII combo, where did you get it? also, was there any cutting required with anything when installing the CAI or was a simple bolt on.? Thanks. great combo!
