Default shift pressures

What would adjusting shift pressures get you. Track v Daily Driving. Also, can these be adjusted with the SCT2 or is that a custom thing.

DD you probably would want it lower, but track will decrease your et's because it shifts faster and firmer.

sct2 can, but if your tuner locked it, then no you cant.

I'm running the 93 Extreme tune from Evolution, and the shift pressures are set at 15%. At the track, Rygen showed me how to adjust the pressures with the SCT2 to 25% for the track. Once we were done racing, I reset it back to 15% for the street. The shifts are firm at 15%, and I like how it drives.

that makes alot of sense. It feels like they could be a little firmer just for driving around town. Maybe it's just me but i like that "Well I definitly just shifted" feel. I imagine that would be adjusted in the custom parameters it asks you for right before you reflash?

Yes. To return the shift pressures to the normal settings, just reflash your desired tune (instead of going into the custom parameters and changing each one back like I did the first time [:@])

I keep mine at 25% in 1-2 all the time and decrease the rest to 15% I don't know why but it seems to work for me at the track I set it all to 25%

Hey!
I'm tying to get the best setup out of this Xcal II, so please bear with me.

1. The Shift Pressure go's from -25 to +25, whats is the best setting on 1-2,3-4,5-6 ?

2. The WOT Shift go's from -3mph to+7mph whats the best setting on 1-2,3-4,5-6 ?

3. The WOT Air/Fuel go's from Richer to Leaner in %'s ?

4. The Spark go's from 0-2000, 2000-4000, 4000-8000 ?

Can anyone give me a starting point for any one of these four setting.

I need a nice comb of all 4 settings to burn rubber and kick A** ?????

I am running the 93 regular tune from Evolution... any idea how much different the torque tune is, and what exactly is different?

[3rd party here-say disclaimer - will not stand up in court if you have to testify using my info!]

Fred told me that the 93 regular tune was their second 93 tune. Folks complained that the first tune shifted too hard at WOT, and that they changed the name to 93Xtreme, and dialed back the shift pressures to create the regular 93 tune (I have both tunes). Fred said that with regular driving (not WOT), there is no difference between the two tunes (I've never tried the regular 93 tune). Like I've said before, I love the 93Xtreme - strong shifts, but I'm not chirpin' tires (fine by me).
