Default Vortech

Well I may be about to bite the bullet. I should get my final quote on the install of:

Vortech HO Supercharger Kit
MRT 3 Gauge Pod w/ Air/Fuel Ratio, Oil Pressure, and Boost w/ Black faces
MRT back window louvers

WooHOOOOOO, well Hopefully everything goes right and I will be driving up to MRT in the next couple weeks.

WOW. 3400 is a steal!! Too bad I don't live near MRT. Otherwise I would probably hook up that deal and pass on the 3700 dollar x charger without install.

that is a great price, but don't forget that is the non intercooled version....the intercooled one is like 900 dollars more i think.

the one i posted that they use on the vauxhaull commanders in aussie? you'd need some custom fabbing to do it. the blower side of the redirection plate is fine because it is already fitted to the m90, but the outlet is made for the commander motor. I'm sure it could be done for just a bit more than the plate already costs, but it already costs 900 bucks without the intercooler and piping...to get it all fabbed with piping and the actual intercooler is gonna cost 2 grand+ on top of the x-charger price...thats gonna be like 6 grand...then again, you could do the install yourself and it'd come out a bit more expensive than an intercooled turbo system with install, but it would make a turbo its bitch...think x-charger torque shelf with peak numbers over 300. it'd be rediculous. if someone has enough cash to do it, it'd be worth it, but i have nowhere near enough time/cash to go that route.

are you gonna go with the aftercooled vortech or the non-aftercooled? i'd reccomend springing for the intercooled version at the beginning if you can...you are going to want it later anyway and it will cost less to do it all at once. you can do it later tho if you cant afford it now.
