Default H pipe

For anyone who used a GT hipe to convert to duals.....................
Was it pretty easy........all you gotta do is buy the driver side midpipe and cut the down pipes after the cats and weld the mid pipes to the H right? I got brackets and the driver side mid pipealready (im just going to use the right side mid pipe......should me the same)...My fiancee's dadis going to do this for me this weekend......any problems I might encounter? Feel free to chime in.

Default RE: H pipe

you have your terminology a little wrong, but i think itsright in your head.

the h part of the gt pipe needs to be cut after the cats, as well as the v6 ypipe. then you have to weld the hpipe to the v6 cat pipes. they are different diamater, so its not straight forward. then the rest of the gt exhaust system bolts right up
