Default T-lok or TrueTrack

I currently have the Ford Racing T-lok and its workin' great...but I was curious to know if there is any reason to upgrade to a TrueTrack? I know they are higher quality devices but do have provide any added benefit?

its a gear style lsd vs a clutch type, they will handel alot more abuse, if you already have the tlok then i wouldnt bother upgrading unless/if/when something happens to the tlok

You'll know if you need a TrueTrac if you manage to smoke a Trac-Lok, which, as far as I've seen, is hard to do -- Scrming here was beating the hell out of his with 500ft/lbs nitrous launches and it's held up great!

and my 242rwtq broke an axle

i was a big 7.5 believer, now i highly recommend just going with the 8.8 upgrade. at 460rwtq, i find it hard to believe a 7.5 would hold up to my launches for long (or at all)

I would get the truetrac over the Tlok if you plan to put a lot of power through it, or if you are a manual.

Once I've pieced my twin-turbos together, I'll let everyone know what breaks first

(Muahaha)

I know of two broken auburns, one NA and one on Nitrous ont he 4.0. I wouldn't bother with it.
