Default engine mounts

what do you think? I was looking into them and I was wondering why they think you'd need to take it to a mechanic for the install... you just support the engine with jack/2x4 and replace the mounts, right?

yeah... i swapped the motor mounts on my last car... and after taking a look, thought it couldnt be too complicated... i thought i'd just, you know, shove some leaves underneath for support.

Although I have not looked at my own motor mounts as a reference, you should be able to unbolt them and jack up the motor enough to remove and replace. Just make sure the hood is open when you jack up the engine! The trans mount is also a good thing to replace at the same time, as it will tighten up the drivetrain to the car and help minimize the binding flex that can occur, since the shifter is attached to the body and not the drivetrain.
