Default what should I look into???

alrighty then before I get my stang and start playing with it a lil I kinda wanna know what'll give me the best performace/bang for the buck.

As far as:
Intake
Exhaust (dual I'm thnking, real musle car soundin')
Tuners

(there's more but it goes in another section)just about any/everything to keep my n/a. So what am I looking at as far as options?? I've been looking at this company Moss are they any good?? I've herd a lot of good things from Magnaflow and Flowmaster witch is the better of the two. Like I said I kinda wanna know what I'm getting myself into before I get knee deep in it. And the easier to install the better.

Definitely look VMP Tuning's setup. They have an Intake+Exhaust+Tune package, and VMP makes some of the best 6er tunes

I think VMP is very good, but what r ur future plans? Supercharger? Nitrous? Just a good DD? And how much highway driving do u do?

If ur looking for a lot of power in the car, just save up and buy a vortech supercharger or turbo. Both good for DD with low boost range from $3.2k to $4k and install and tune will run another $1k. With that set-up the least exhaust ur gonna need to run is a hi-flow muffler which will run $200. A dual cat-back with a mid pipe will run easily $800.
If u don't want that much power, get the VMP package. If u want more power after that get gears and a t-lok which will run around $700-$850 installed and be ur next best bang for buck mod. If u still want more power, u probably should have gone supercharger but now u could do some other bolt-on's that r left: Underdrive Pulley's, Aluminum Driveshaft, Shorty headers, a custom tune, and some suspension mods. If u want more than 240-260hp, u should go supercharger. If not then the other way is fine. It's really up to one's taste.

I'd like somthing that I can use regular 87 octane gas. It's the only thing I can afford.

Than superchargers r out. U won't find a ton of power out there then. The Cai/custom tuned tuner from B A M A, Brenspeed, or AA. I see u want duals, definitly a good choice, go to the top of the drivetrain section and check out all the exhaust clips to see what u like. I have found out that MRT's r the loudest but sound ricey, JBA's r pretty deep and solid, and some people complain about flowmasters losing their deep rumble after 1k miles, but u could read up more on that. Get a GT-take off H-pipe for the cheapest price and best sounding. Next u'll need over axelspipes u might be able to get off someone with a GT that got a new cat-back system or havean exhaust guycustom make them for $100 or less.Shorty Headers w/the duals would be nice cause it makes the exhaust louder and deeper. After all this u can tell us if u like ur car a lot more now, if u need more power just write us, but this is enough for most people that just ride and don't drag or street race.

ok how well do turbo mufflers sound on theses cars?? I have a cherry bomb turbo muffler on the escort and I'm pretty satified about the sound not too loud and not too quite, just a nice deep agrissive sound. And yeah I'll mostly ride around but if something comes up the I know I can smoke well everyone needs to have some fun sometime. I want duals just b/c not only dose it look cool but I love th sound of it.

Same here, duals r monsters when it comes to sound! Getting mine installed within the next couple weeks. I've never heard cherry bomb mufflers on these cars, not sure if anyones running em. But if u can find an explorer with the 4.0 or simililar size engine, it will sound very close to that. Probably not bad. If an escort can pull it off a 4.0 can definitly do it and it will probably sound deeper too!
