0-60 time and launch question PLZ HELP
I have a 07 auto with a JLt CAI, bama 93 race tune and true dual flowmaster exhaust with h pipe. what do you think my 0-60 would be as well as my 1/4 and what do you think my estimated hp and torque is at the crank and not at the crank(like what the motor actually is making before transmission loss)? is what is the fastest way to launch if i was racing from a stand still.

RE: Quick Questions
For the first ?, you should find a local dyno near you and have your car dyno'd.
it should cost about $60 (some more, some less..) and it will give you many of the things you are asking for.
Secondly, your "one wheel burnouts" are the result of an open differential, somethin that comes standard on our v6's.
The best thing to do is to get a T-Lok (or detroit true track.. etc..) and get power to both wheels. To get the car to "hook up," or launch better, you need stickier tires.

RE: Quick Questions
some mags are testing 0-60 in 6.6 and 6.8, but ive heard people have come out with 7.1.. depends on your mods..
you should be lower with your mods.
buy a dashhawk and make it do it for you

RE: Quick Questions
im running anywhere from 6.3-6.7ish(stopwatch timed) stock (just a hi-flow fliter, that's it) really lookin forward to getting the tuner and intake....i'd say low 6s for tune and intake...maybe high 5s, but pry right around 6
i've found that shifting the auto yourself can get faster 0-60s than if you just leave it in drive
idk what the 15 or whatever hp you get from the intake and tune would translate into for timed runs, but pry not HUGE difference

RE: Quick Questions
Yeah if you can time the shifts with your auto, it will run alot quicker and you'd have more control over your start. I don't really know if this would have any other side effect that would harm your car though. I do this every so often when I need to really get passed some of the idiots on the roads from a dead stop.
