Are there any install guides for gears I could not find any. Also for putting in the T-lok I am thinking of doing both of these myself with a little help. Thanks

 

wow. good luck. there was a member on here that installed the gears himself. cant remember who right now but i will post back if i find out.

 

word to the wise if you havent ever done this before dont try it. it is really easy to mess something up. it isnt as simple as it seems. but i dont know maybe you will knock the bottom out. im just speaking from experience

 

the tlok is acutally doable for a DIY but if your changing gears then you need to know about backlash and how to set it up properly which i would let someone do, so they mise well do both while they are in there

dont forget a bering kit

 

Its much better to have someone with the knowledge and tools to do this job right. Its very easy to screw up and it will sound terrible! This is a job for a professional. This is the reason I went with a 8.8 takeoff when I wanted gears & t-lok.

 

does anyone know the weight difference between the 7.5 axle assembly and 8.8 axle assembly?
