i put an accel supercoil & a set of e3 plugs in tonight. hello throttle response. a well spent $125.

 

What did you gap your plugs to?

 

i just eye-balled them and they were near dead on. per the e3 site>

E3 Spark Plugs for automotive applications have a unique three-leg ground electrode that is pre-gapped at our factory to meet the O.E. requirements for the vehicles they are listed to fit. No further gapping is required.

 

Yea, but since you installed a new coil-pack with them you should have opened them up a bit.

 

because of the 3 prong tip design, i wasn't gonna mess around.

 

That is fine, they might not be able to gap them.

To get full use of the coil pack you really need to open up the plugs.

However, if it is running smoother then it seems like it is helping.

when you press the gas pedal the engine reacts more quickly.

 

Sancho. The coil-pack should help with 2 things. The engine should run smoother at idle and the engine should react quicker to throttle pressure.
