Default ford performance "package" questions

hey guys first off i'm new here to this forum. i have an 08 mustang, i want to upgrade it a little bit as far as performance goes. but i'm only 18 and the car is still under my mothers name for a few reasons insurance, credit and so on. i do have a job and i am paying for most of it, but she doesn't want me to void the warranty so I’m thinking about buying the ford product. (also I don’t know that much about cars yet, but I’m learning)
Okay so here’s my questions: do you notice a big difference with the performance package?
2.Do any of you know how much it’s going to cost me to have the dealership put the parts on? (I think that is the only way they stay under warranty)
thanks for any help!

Welcome! You might also want to check out MustangCollective.com (bunch of 4.0L guys over there).

I have not installed this package, but I can pretty much guarantee you will feel a difference.

A few guys on here have just installed the CAI/Tune that is involved in the "package" and you can read that thread for more information.

Also, a lot of people have installed the Ford Racing duals have have been very happy with them.

Ford must have changed their performance package, because in 07 the v6 performance package was anti lock brakes and traction control.

I'm in the same boat you are man, 18 and I can't do anything to void the warranty. But anyways I'm getting the Ford Racing dual exhaust kit and having my dealership put it on.From what I've heard it's pretty nice and you can make it really loud depending on the muffler you want, if you choose to upgrade it to the GTA. I think they said it would be about $1300 if I wanted to get the duals and a cold air intake installed together.

lol. that's kinda funny, can't void the warranty but we'll still try to get as much power as we can. lol. and the $1300 was for the package and them insatalling it? how much hp do you think the exhaust will add b/c online it doesn't say but it says the intake will add about 12hp.
