Finally after months and months of saving up LOL, I finally got around to ordering my X-CAL3+ Tunes from BAMA...I went with the 87 Perf, 91 Torque & 91 Race. I'm running with an Airaid CAI, Doug said hes gotten pretty good numbers out of this kind of set-up. What am I to expect from the tunes I went with? Cant wait to try the Torque tune out and the famous Race tune

 

If its an automatics your shifts will be alot better. A manual wi the race tune same way enjoy.

 

Oh yea, shes an Auto! After riding in my friends EVO IX MR this weekend, I want some more torque ....This is the part I hate the most.....The waiting lol

 

You will love the improved throttle response and shifting. The 87 perf tune wont feel much different than stock as far as power, unless it is a nice cool (55 deg f) night. You will like the 91 torque and race tunes though, I suspect you will want to upgrade to the 93 octane tunes in the future. (I run a 93 performance as my daily driver, I like it)

I'm gonna roll with the 87 for awhile (A week or so LOL) then, I'ma throw in the Torque to feel my baby come alive lol. The highest the octane goes around here is 91 so 93 isnt possible. The throttle response is terrible so anything is an improvement over stock lol

I have those tunes. I like the 91 race best, but it takes a careful throttle at low speed take off. The Torque is much better in town driveable. And top end feel is same at WOT. the 87 Perf is very smooth and runs just a hair slower in feel to the 91 Torque.

Overall you will like em all...

 

I ordered mine last week. Although I had to mail Doug my tuner as I could not down load the driver. My tuner and new tunes should be here on Friday.

 

I went from the 93 Performance tune to the 87 Perf tune(to save on gas)...and it felt like my car was running through an ocean of peanut butter......

I will never go back.

 

I seem to to be having a problem with the Race tune. When I download it onto my car, my car doesnt start...The 87 Perf and 91 Torq work fine....Hmmm The Torque tune is fine but, I really wanted to try the Race Hopefully Doug can help me out pronto cuz I cant wait LOL
