I have gotten just about all the parts for the install. The shop installing it mentioned that I needed to get an electronic eqpt to reflash the computer. What exactly is that? Are they speaking of a predator or diablo tuner???? if so that is another 300 to 400 dollars I was not counting on spending..... how else can they reflash the computer once the gears and t-lok are installed...

I just have never heard of having to buy a tuner to reflash the computer when changing gears...

any body has some suggestions????

 

you need the tuner to tell the computer that the gear ratio has changed or your speedometer will be off. idk how to change it without a tuner, maybe the dealership could do it for you?

 

any idea what it will cost to have the dealer to reflash the computer?
