Default Max Boost On Stock Internals?

So I went ahead and got a Procharger kit and will be installing it in the spring. I wanted to start a thread and hear from those who are running boost what psi are you running and for how long on the stock pistons, head gaskets, etc.

Personally, I'm planning on starting with the lowest boost/biggest pulley until I get into the engine.

Probably should say what forced induction system you're using too.

Do you mean you changed the boost over that 2 year period? Procharger or what? 14psi or even 12 sounds a little high for cast pistons with 9.7:1 comp, not to mention pump gas.

fazm has a turbo setup, just read some of his previous posts and you can find his setup.

Ok. Both of their setups are turbo. No blown head gaskets? Any SC numbers out there? I know boost control on a TC is very different from an SC. Procharger tech person said I should have no problem with the 9psi pulley, but according to supersixmotorsports.com they have seen blown head gaskets at only 8psi.
