Default Need help for mods

I jsut got 08 V6 yesterday.
(Premium, MT, Shaker 500, Blakc Leather/Black Interior, Torch Red)
It is GREAT RIDE And I have list of mods already.
Since I'm new and never been familiar with this kind of forums,
I need everyone's helps/opinions/thoughts.

1. Short Throw Shifter
I really don'tlike how far the shifter travel.
I heard B&W, Hurst, Saleen STSes.
I'm looking for smoth shifter which is easy to install.
Can anyone gimme idea and where to buy them cheap?

2. Grille.
I was planning to buy Pony pkg, but ended up with base grille.
So I'm looking for stock GT grille or Pony pkg grille for converison.
I guess pony grille will fir onto base, but what about GTgrille?
I was thinking instead of sepearted switch to control fog lights,
tap the headlights'/or park lights' wires to power up them.
But I'm not sure wires from headlight will hold that much current.
Any ideas?

3. Stripe/Tint
Well, I guess I will look for local professionals.
But any recommandation for stripe kits?
I'm thinking to get Gloss Black.

4. Spoiler.
Any input for sexiest sopiler for V6?
Mine is something like this (Painted or Blacked)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120384376658

5. Rims.
Stock 16 has Tire Pressure Monirot System.
If I swaped them with other rims, will the light come on?
What if I swaped them with 17 Bullits from other 05+ mustang?

6. Rear blackout panel.
I really want to have this!
In my view, mustangs rear is kinda boring.
I want something like this.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=270344334251
What you all think?
Most of them installed by 3M tapes, and rarely by magnetic.
Which one is better?

Please help out this newbie by sharing your knowledges.
Thank you in advance!

You should also look into a performance muffler/cai/tuner package for your Mustang V6. It makes a big difference in the way the car runs as you pick up an easy 20-25 RWHP. I recommend vmptuning.com. As for the rear panal check out the honeycomb one from Silverhorse Racing. I think it looks great on the back of our cars as it matches the front grille. Yes, you have to get the sensors for any new wheels or the light will come on. Good luck and enjoy your new Mustang.

Welcome!

1 > Hurst or MGW some people like Hurst some MGW
2 > GT grille will not fit without modification. PP grille is a bit pricy new
but you can fine them used. You should not "splice into the
headlamps... run a relay and switch.
3 > Baltimore Street Mods or GFX Express for stripes and I would suggest matte black
4 > Try the Spoiler Store on ebay
5 > Wheels must have TPMS sensors or the light will come on. Some folks just live with it. American Muscle has a band and sensor kit you can use with new wheels
6 > I have a vinyl black out ... I've heard good and bad about the magnetic, people seem to love or hate it. Check Moss Mustang for a goo selection of blackouts

Thanks for all your inputs.

I'm thinking for Hurst, but I don't like white ball shift ****.
Can I just keep my stock shif **** on Hurst?
And how hard to install?

Also I'm looking for Saleen adapter.
I guess it is cheaper than others and I can keep stock shifter.
Will this work regardless of V6/GT?
Anyone knows how short/smoth it shift?
