But hopefully you just got a great deal. does it drive straight? look under the hood, are there OEM parts? are the VINs scratched off? does it smell like dead bodies in the trunk?

I know rental car places like Enterprise sell their cars way under the BlueBook pricing.. I asked them about that once and they told me it's because they buy so many new under the original price they can afford to sell them reasonably.

i was an anti-extended warranty person, cuz when i bought my 05 nothing was wrong and i assumed everything would be fine - now i'm glad i paid the extra money for it

at 35K: battery replaced ~$100
at 37K: heater replaced, lumbar replaced ~$400
at 74K: parking brake cables replaced, gauges replaced (wouldn't work when cold), seat belt wouldn't latch, heater actuator replaced $1139.04
currently at 74.5K: added coolant and went out to run some errands - got home and steam coming from under hood, grabbed flashlight and looked leaking out from front of motor....car's going back in to the shop today hopefully.

i definitely got my money out of the warranty, so i'm glad i got it. luckily, this stuff is all going on before the warranty expires at 75K - i just hope nothing else is going to happen - bought this car hoping it would last...still hoping
