SCT dash scan plug
I got the SCT dash scan on sale at american muscle because I thought it would be cool to get data logging and performance estimates and stuff; however, once I plugged into the port, this thing is wicked difficult to take off. Any hints?
It was much easier to get out with a screwdriver, but I'm not sure if that is the correct way.
Anyways,
I did the 0-60 thing twice on level ground and it gave me 5.0 and 5.3 seconds. I didn't take a level to the ground or anything but it appears level and the car does not roll. I do think I went a tad early the first time. On the second time I waited for it to say "go" before I released the clutch because the time just seems too good to be true.
I think that has to be BS because I just think there is no way that could be achievable with CAI, tune, exaust, and 3.73 gearing in a 5 speed manual. Is it possible? The horsepower estimator seems a little flakey too but seemed realistic (but obviously not accurate like a dyno) if you do a single gear pull and then let off. It estimated me at 236 horsepower 240 torque.
