Default sequential tail light problem

hi everyone
so ive had my sequentials for about 2 1/2 months now and today the outside light on my right side stopped lighting up when i brake, use my right turn signal, and lock my car with the remote. but when i hit the unlock button on my remote (which lights up all the lights simultaneously) it lights up. now before i go and recrimp everything does anyone know anything about this problem?

this is the kit i have:
http://www.mustangtaillightsequencers.com/blank.html

Swap the bulbs around to see if anything changes (or replace the suspect bulb with a new one).

And clean the harness connector contacts plus the bulb contacts.

Well I was thinking that but why would it light up when I hit the unlock button but not at any other time?
I will try cleaning it and recrimping the wires (I didn't get the plug and play I got the self splice one) but I'm starting to suspect I might have got a defective wire set

Not to make you feel bad, but that's a reason to buy the plug 'n play set. With that kind of problem, you could return the lights to stock and if the problem persisted, it would be a trip back to the dealer under warranty.

Its a bad kit and the timing is off.
The S197s turn signal timing does not match the kits timing.
WebElectrics 'adjusts' itself to the S197s timing FTW.
Get a good kit and the troubles will go away...

well heres an update:
today i went and took apart the tail light thats been acting up in the process i disconnected some bad crimping i did when i installed it. so i recrimped the wires and then switched the middle bulb with the outer one and presto! it works lol
sooo it was probably my bad crimping at the beginning that did it lol

Yet another vote for Plug-N Play kits.
Solder and Heatshrink on the 'you cut and install it' kits or the highway.....
