Throttle Sticking

Default Throttle Sticking

So i just installed my new BBK 70mm Throttle Body for the V6 and i can tell that the throttle is sticking. .............. how do i make it stop sticking

Return it and buy a Zabteck TB?

The sticking thing is pretty common with the BBK unfortunately

........... how can i return it if i bought it online? Would having it allready been on my car alow it to not be returned ?

No. They will take back. You didnt know it was a pos until you put it on. I sent a TCI shifter back to Jegs and it was on my car for 3 weeks.

Put the oem back on then search ThrottleBodys on the forum....

the threds ive seen are for 5.0 and 4.6. Later i plan on a intercooled turbo and thus was going to get a TB early. Im not looking for it jsut to have it.

Wait, explain the sticking. You might just have to adjust the idle.

Almost every time i up-shift the rpms launch about 500 over what they were at. ( i know it does a little but this is more than norm) then when im driving most of the time when i let off the gass the car acts like my foot is still there for about 3-6 seconds sometimes more. When i start the car it will sit at 1500-2000 rmps then drop to 800 then to 500-300 and will not sit steady at either 500 or 300. When i rev the motor it will go up as normal then come done a tad then stick for a sec then come down stick then it will settle.
