just get the 8.8 rear with the trakloc on it with what gears you want, i got mine for right at 1000 installed. our rear end has a 3 links system two lower control arms and one upper control arms, they control the movement of the rear axle. i got che lowers and installed them myself i think i paid close to 200 for them, i dont remember,

1.) V6's don't suck, there are several including mine that could prove that over and over.
2.) Racing at red lights is a bad idea, you need to take it to the track.
3.) T-Lok, sway bars, wider/better tires, and LCA's are all good ways to get better traction.

Put poly bushings on the PanHrad Bar as well ForTheWin....
I retract my statement.
Basic $19,999 05-09 V6 mustangs handle
like Ford wants you to buy a GT.
They are all over the road.
GT front and rear sways with poly bushings
and wider tires along with Roush springs equals GoCart type handling...
Basic V6es suck in the handling deptment. Period.

Put in a 8.8 rear or a trac-lok differential.
W/o knowing more details of your setup, we can't help much.
The stock rear end on a V6 will spin one tire naturally (open differential carrier); using a trac-lok or other lsd differential carrier will distribute the power to both wheels instead of just one...

The new s197 V6's definately are road worthy. I know a guy in the 12's with gears and spray. Respectable for any car.

So what your saying is that the back end comes around when you hit the gas at a red light i mean i live in bay area CA too but i never seem to fish tail mine at a red light. if its doing this i agree with what everything what else said and in the end really just let up on the gas all the rain we've had up here hasn't helpped anything either
