Both
You won't get much of a performance gain from duals, but the sound and look is well worth it.
A CAI/Tune, imo, is the best bang for your buck out there. Completely livens the whole car up. You will definitely feel a difference, especially if you get a good, high octane tune

I did get duals as my first major mod only because my car was still under warranty and I didn't want to risk anything by putting a CAI/Tune.
Now that my warranty has run out, it is something I want to do.

You won't be disappointed going either way. But keep in mind that a good CAI tune costs more than the $550 you have, and you can lay down the pipes for duals for less than that and start saving for a CAI/Tune later.
I paid just under 200 for my duals install (which included fabricating an H pipe, shaping and installing a mid-pipe, and hanging a driver's side muffler) and you can bag a pair of GT-Takeoffs for $40, or even cheaper if someone doesn't know what they have.
Sure, you won't have the best duals set up out there, but it will satisfy you for now and swapping out the axelbacks later is simple

Really? I think they sound great. I still want to upgrade to maybe flowmasters, JBAs or magnapacks but still, for the price, the takeoffs are well worth it.
