Default Muffler Question

I was wondering if it is possible to remove my axle backs and swap in new mufflers with tips? IDK if this is a dumb question or if its possible. If it is possible what accessory parts would i need to attach the mufflers to the pipes.

Axle backs= From the rear axle-back.

Basically your asking if you can swap your axle backs for some other axle backs. Yep. Just make sure they are the right diameter.

I'm not a fan of clamps myself, I'd find someone to weld them on.

What i mean is just a plain muffler that is non specific to our style of car. just like a magnaflow muffler with some exhaust piping and tips

As long as the muffler itself clears, sure. I'd talk to a muffler or race shop about what will and won't fit 1st though. But yeah, it's definitely possible to cut the old ones off and replace with whatever will fit.

Yeah mook's right. If I remember correctly the inlet of the muffler should be 2.5", that's the size of your pipes.
