Thanks for all of the advice. I'm definitely going with a CAI first thing. Just have to decide which one. And can someone tell me the significance of a tune for it? What am I missing out on if I don't get one?

More responsiveness in the pedal and about 15HP/lbs tq. Most of the power is unlocked in the tune.

A stand alone CAI, that does NOT require a tune, may increase around 3-5 HP. The real performance gain is from the custom tune. I have an Airaid CAI, that does not require a tune and I did not feel much of a difference in performance. However, once I uploaded my Brenspeed tune, it was a huge improvement!

Stand alone, no-tune required CAI = about 3-5 RWHP and potential to throw a CEL for running lean (long term use running lean can use engine damage)

Tune-required CAI and a good custom tune = about 15-20 RWHP on the V6 (if I recall correctly) plus improved throttle response, better shifting.
