GT Takeoffs Dual Conversion Done
I got a decent deal on a set of 2006 GT catbacks and had a shop install today. They installed with an X-Pipe. I had a Flowmaster single AT so I had to go back to my stock video to remember the difference. Hear are the stock and GT videos for anyone considering doing it.

No problem. Try ebay, newtakeoff or blueovalindustries. Seems like the selections change frequently so if you see a pair of VB, jump on it. I speak very highly of BOI since I received my order in about 24 hours.

Nope.
Best way would to be to paint it with multiple coats of flat black.
That is why I bought a GT500 splitter when we had the 06GT.
I knew the chips would come and probably some scrapes every blue moon
and did NOT want to have to worry about that.
The GT500 splitter is made of a material that will not chip and the scratches
do not show at all unless you get REALLY close to it.
Plus the damn splitter was only about 90 bucks so it costed A LOT less
than an aftermarket chin spoiler you have to buy plus paint or have to pay more
to have it pre painted.
I also think the GT500 splitter looks JUST as good as the aftermarket
chin spoilers. Even though the aftermarket ones come out closer to the front
bumpers lip all the way down. Still think the GT500 splitter looks JUST as good and it sure as heck has a better price (90 bucks compared to 250- 350 of the painted
aftermarket chin spoilers), along with the priceless peace of mind when it comes to the chips/scraping worries after spending all that cashola!
