Exclamation BAMA Tuner Help

Im looking into this SCT BAMA Tuner for my 2007 V6. Ive already installed a BBK cold air intake as well as a flowmaster axleback. These two mods have been great so far, but the 93 octane tune has really gotten me interested in the tuner. Does anyone have any experience with this tuner because im trying to get info on it before i buy it this week. I left the link below to american muscle and i wanna know how your cars have performed on each tune and if the $380 is worth dropping for this tuner.

Ok, here's my story. Bought a used 05 GT. Had a Steed CAI and Pypes on it. I wasn't sure if it was already tuned or not, but didn't want to take the chance that it wasn't. I got the SCT/X3. Was easy to put in by the way. Long story short, my before 1/4 mile speed was 104mph, after was 106mph. So, I'll leave it up to you to decide if it's worth it. One thing to consider, if your CAI requires a tune, you should do it. Too much air = too lean an engine = meltdown.

My 0-60 went from 6.9 seconds stock to 5.8 seconds with a Bama 91 Race tune, BBK cai, and dual Flowmasters. Is it worth it? HELL YEAH!

The tuner is definitely worth it. a good CAI+tune should be your first mod always.

The custom tunes are definitely worth it!
When ordering from Bama, you will receive the handheld tuner with 3 custom tunes already uploaded. Each tune is a little different and the higher the octane, the more aggressive the tune will be.
The performance difference is very noticeable and your Stang will be a lot more fun to drive!
Also, the custom tune will avoid the possiblilty of running rich or lean, with the BBK CAI.
Go for it!

Have you looked into an SCT X3 tuner with Steeda custom tuning?

... You probably should listen to me, because heaven forbid you might learn something. Bottom line is a no tune required CAI causes almost no performance gain. If it was going to get you an actual performance gain, youd need a tune for it. Getting a tune for a BBK CAI might be slightly better than just a tune, but nowhere near as good as a tune requiring cai and a tune. Just the facts. The BBK is pretty much cosmetic only.

So you're saying i should just bite the bullet and just order the tuner?
