Default Installing cheap HID's.

I have an 05 v6 mustang and im going to be installing hids in it probably next weekend. Im gonna write and rate the product so if any of your gear heads were interested here you go.

Website im ordering from is

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DD...ast-35W-or-55W

Im picking
55watt
H13/9008 Hi/LowBeam
8000k
and mounting brackets for 55watt
For a total of $75 with shipping and handling.. Ive been searching for HIDS on these mustangs for a few weeks now and ive only found expensive ones so hopefully these will get the job done.. Ive been recommend by numerous people that bought these same bulbs for there car or truck as well.

I've used DDM for awhile and can honestly say I haven't had any major problems.. A couple minor things like plugs not being tightly secure and not making a good connectino but that's easy to deal with for the price I was getting them.. The one time I did get a ballast flooded and didn't work anymore (supposed to be waterproof) they sent me a new one no questions asked.. When I saw the prices I thought too good to be true but haven't had any problems on any of my cars..

By the way, the 55W is extremely bright and may even be too bright depending on the car.. I had those on my Nissan IIRC and used to get brights flashed at me every now and then.

Im rocking out a set of Digital brand HID's from retro-solutions.com ive had them installed for about 3 months now with no issues. I got the 55w ballasts with the 6000k bulbs and they look amazing. I would recommend getting a good kit like mine vs the ebay kits which dont seem to last that long. Spend the extra money upfront, its worth it. I will post a few night pics of my car in the next day or so.

I got a set off eBay for 40 bucks (no brights), and have had 0 issues in the past two years, lol.
Not sure why everyone is so wary about cheap HID's..

It all depends really... I've had good luck with the cheap ones I had for about 3 years they finally died. My brother on the other hand is on his 3rd set of eBay lights in a few months.
