How hard is it on your motor? What Kind of boost will this give me? H/P wise. Would I be able to surprise my buddy with an 05 gt? It would be funny to sneek it on the car and give him a run. lol

 

I ran a Zex kit with 75 shot for two seasons and never had a problem. But you want a window switch to be safe. The window switch won't let the control unit see the rpm until you hit the set speed - if you spray too low in the rpm the engine will open a window in the block. I had mine set at 2,400 rpm to open the window and close it again at something like 6,300 rpm. I had it tuned by Lidio at Alternative Auto, and it put down good RWHP and lots of torque, with an AFR near 12.0.



I can't remember my best pass on it, but it was near 13.5 because I remember that the convertible was just nearing the mark where I had to put a 6 point cage in it to remain track legal (the Xcharger was more consistent and ran mid 12's). I know that my one friend with a GT said he hated running me after the nitrous because we were so close at that point.
