Default SCT Tuner Help!

Alrighty, so my brand new SCT SF3/X3 tuner came in the mail today, and I was pretty pumped to put on my 93 Race tune. Sat in my car, plugged in the tuner, and started the process. Followed the step-by-step directions on the tuner, and then bam. It told me to turn my key to the on position, which it already was, and then after about a minute the tuner exited the tuning process and disconnected. I'm guessing the battery died on me, because the car will not start now. I've taken the battery and had it tested, and it's got plenty of voltage to crank, it just won't. I'm hoping it isn't the alternator, and leaning more towards the tuner being half loaded is the problem. I'm currently charging the battery now and I'm gonna let it sit over night. Anyone else have these problems with the tuner?

I can't say I've experienced that problem, but I guess I can ask the dumb question. Did you simply retry loading the tune from the beginning of the process? I do know that one time I accidentally pulled my tuner out in the middle of a tune before. I restarted the process and everything was fine.

Samething I would suggest. Just don't turn the key till it prompts you to.

I did try, but my battery was too low or something, it wouldn't even detect that my key was turned on. I charged the battery over night and Im gonna try and tune it when I get home from work today

Who did you buy the tuner/tunes from?

Well, I fixed the problem guys. I had a blonde moment & didn't realize it. When the tuner screen that said "Please wait... Make sure the key is turned ON" I thought it meant it wasn't on and I kept toying with it until I realized that's what was messing it up lol. I set the tuner down and let it run it's course without interfering with anything, tune loaded up, and the car cranked on the first try. I feel really noob right now lol, I guess my nerves & rush to get it done got to me. Thanks for the replies though guys

Nothing like the knot in the pit of your stomach when you think you may have bricked your PCM...
