Default Front end alignment

Ok folks, I had recently got two new tires and an alignment check. I was surprised to see that My front end was .28 Toe on the Left and -.24 on the right! I bought the car from a dealer last May and haven't really noticed anything....cept maybe a little vibration at 70+ mph but only on certain highways so I always thought that was the pavement. Oh, and no uneven tread wear (just eyeballed it).
Belle Tire recommended an alignment......I declined only because I didn't want to pay the extra fourty $.
Any thoughts? Is this bad for an alignment?

yes that is way off. I had my alignment checked a year ago and it was fine. i just installed lowering springs and rechecked it i was about .2 off also. Have you car aligned asap or you will be paying for new tires before you know it

Ok i will, i was a little concerned only because i was thinking that misaligned tires would show more signs of an issue. The car drives perfectly fine and the older tires that i put in the rear dont look bad at all. And i drove a whole year on them in the front.....

I installed new struts up front and drove it for a day with no pulling or steering problems. I patted myself on the back thinking I installed the struts perfectly and didn't change the alignment. A friend insisted I have the alignment checked and it was WAY off! LOL After the alignment, the steering was tighter than ever! Go have that alignment done!

Wow! I got mine done and applied a $20 off belle tire coupon towards the $50 alignment so I only paid 30 bones for the front end. And I noticed a HUGE difference in steering and handling. Glad I did it and glad Belle Tire has the 20 dollar off coupon too. You can only use one once per customer per month.
