Hey I own a 2008 v6 4.0 mustang and want to do some head work to it but I'm if I want to port the head the way it is or maybe get a 4.2l head and port that before I think about a bolt on supercharger or turbo

 

Before getting into what's possible, practical or pie in the sky doable...what is your goal, time frame, skill level and budget?
Not knowing any of this I'm going to recommend you start by beefing up the existing drive train to support the power adder you decide on once that is accomplished. Don't worry about the heads until you've maxed out the performance and have lots of cash to burn.
