I was backing out of a parking spot last night and hit a curb I didn't see and this metal box got knocked down and was dragging. I had to zip tie it and drive home. I asked some mechanics and they were too sure what is it. I even looked online but couldn't find much. Thanks in advanced for all the help. 2009 v6 btw

Strange, I tried putting img tags around it and it deleted it

 

That is part of the emissions systems as I recall.

 

Do you have a s197 that you can send me a picture of? I'm trying to figure out how to attach it back thanks

 

Can't get a picture but the clips holding it in place should be fairly obvious

 

cant really tell you what it is but I would like to know too it is so annoying I hate it because you can see it from the back I was thinking about getting a different rear bumper to cover it up I hate how it looks but if you found out what i is let me know.
