hes got the gears and install kit for down for like 250.. but hes plannin a full days labor for the job.. casue he likes to have everyhing done perfect.. is it worth it to pay that much casue i know for sure it will get done right.

$550 for the install is still a big rip off...

Take it somewhere else that will do it for less, and if they mess up they get to fix it!

Takes 3 hours TOPS to do a perfect gear swap. Any respectable shop can do it in less than 2 hours.

Tell your friend you are going somewhere else.

Wow, you could drive to Vegas, stay at the Ballagio, eat, drink and f@ck world class poon, buy your gears and get them installed for that much. You could go to a Ford Dealer and it would be much cheaper.

I don't know what your Ford dealer is like, but I called and asked for a quote on gears install and they said $400+. Most of the shops around here do it for $300...

Friendly Ford was 3 hours @ 105, plus 200 for gears and bk, so 500 would be a good bit cheaper. Less teh service dude was throwing the shiz around to me.
