Default JBA Headers ???

Hey guys -

As some of you may know already i am in California where emissions are really strict, and i finally found a pair of JBA's that are 50 state carb approved, but i was wondering if it was still worth getting headers if i couldnt get an H or X pipe? I hear that they are not carb approved and wanted to know if i would still get increased gains.

Thanx.

actually I am in CA too. What I am gonna do is get an o/r x pipe, which is cheaper than a catted one...And just bolt in my original when its testing time. Saves money and gets better gains. JMO

It wouldn't be expensive because he would be swapping them out himself... It just takes time.. Keep the stocker for test time and bolt it in place of the o/r piece.

Running an O/R pipe is dangerous in Cali. If you get busted by the cops with that there is a good chance they will impound your vehicle. And I am from Cali too.
