whats the best way, if any to keep hood temps down. im in texas and it gets really hot down here. i was reading something about moving a hose, or something from the heater core and redirecting the water a different way, okay i just confused myself. but anyway any ideas?
after i install the thermostat 160, or 180 do i need to mess with my tune a little. will the cooler air mess up my parameters? can i bump up the timing a little more?

hmmnm, not sure. I don't "think" it will affect your tune.
yea, im about to purchase a new thermostat too since spring is right around the corner and its starting to warm up...... isnt the motor still in warm up stage with a 160 thermostat so you dont get as good as mileage? i thought i heard that somewhere?
