Default Exhaust tip question

I curently have my exhaust dumped and i think i am going to have it ran out the back again, i was wondering if anyone has 3" or 4" tips on the back, if so does it look good??? What would be a good size to go w/?? Or should i just keep it dumped even tho the a$$ end of the car has the indentations in the bumper with no pipes...

With N2O, I would keep it dumped. I gained 39rwtq by putting my tail pipes back on. But, with the nitrous you are not lacking any TQ.

Yeah, you will lose a little HP, but gain TQ because of back pressure in the exhaust. I went from 336rwhp and 312rwtq to 342rwhp and 351rwtq. We had to chase down the HP #'s, but got them better with some tuning.

When we first dynoed it with the tail pipes the HP was below the initial 336 mark and TQ was in the 347 range. With some tuning we got the HP up to 342 and Tq to 351.

Just remember TQ gets you going and HP keeps you going. You feel TQ so much more than you will ever feel HP.

That's why alot of imports don't "FEEL" fast. They have HP that is comparable to our cars but lack TQ.
