Default 2v or 4v

i have 122k on my stang now. i know the engine isn't going to last long enough to supercharge it so i was wondering...when it goes, do you think i should have it rebuilt, drop in a 96-98 4v (after 98 it will be too expensive) or drop in a 00+ 2v? i want to decide this before i do any mods. and do you think it will be smart to do mods that i will be able to take over to my next motor?

There is a 98 4V on ebay that needs the bottom end rebuilt and it looks like it is going cheap, so you could build it while you are still driving the one you have. That would be the way I would go. Not particularly that engine, but just one you could work on and build right, while you are still driving that one. Just my 2 cents

Well int that case......I would try to him the local junk yards for some low budget stuff. That is where I find a lot of goodies. I live around Houston so........there are a lot of rich guys who wreck cobras and hopped up mustangs that I find good used parts on. It take a lot of time, but very little money. Besides, I have met some real cool guys doing the same thing. If you want some time alone, it work great. It is definately not something you want to take people with you to do. Just another option. Only other thing I can think of is save like you need to pay for an organ transplant and get what you really want.
