Default ? about o2's

I had my car in the shop and the mechanic told me that my o2 sensors the last 2 under the car had there voltage fluctuating and werent performing well. Could o2 sensors on there way out cause my car to have an idle that feels as if it misses occasionally when sitting at a light or in park? also im not getting a check engine light. thanks in advance.

ive heard o2 sensors dont like to notify you when they are going out, until they are long gone. if your mechanic checked the voltage and it really is fluctuating, i'd look into replacing them, myself of course =)

the o2's could throw your idle off cuz its giving wrong fuel ratios, id have it looked at by a second guy, not the same shop, see what happens before you spend 130 bucks or so...
