Is there any way to launch a manual car off of a line lock? I guess I'm thinking of locking the front brakes, "preloading" the car (adjust gas and clutch so the rear rises up a little), and then dropping the line lock when the last yellow light pops. Will this work?? I guess I'm thinking you could use a line lock to drive the car like an auto, where you would stall the car up and then drop the brake to launch the car. Does this work? Anyone tried it?

 

Good way to burn up your clutch on a 5 speed.

 

I kinda figured that's what I'd hear, but i guess it was worth a try.
