Ok, I have an 01 GT how can I tell which transmission I have?

if your car is made 1st half of 2001 i believe you have T-45 and 2nd half of 01 is TR-3650

If you drive it for 6 months and it breaks, it's a t-45. If you drive it for 2 years and have problems out the *** that Ford doesn't diagnose, it's a 3650

In all seriousness, you can tell by RPMS, or reading your door tag. Or look at you water pump (reference www.steeda.com)

look for the date it was produced. if ont the valve cover it says somethi9ng about 2000 then it could be a earlyer 2001 if it says 2001 then it could be a later one. im no sure though.

my 96 was made in 95, so there for its a early 96.

My Stang had "September 1997" right on he side of the valve cover... it was a '98

So just look for the sticker!
